| Abstract: | V současné době je téma migrace stále aktuální. Neméně pozornosti si zasluhuje i téma integrace imigrantů, protože právě proces integrace může významně ovlivnit celkový dopad migrace na cílové země. Cílem této diplomové práce je identifikace a analýza nákladů na integraci cizinců v letech 2004 – 2019 v České republice a vyhodnocení, zda jsou tyto prostředky vynakládány efektivně. Teoretická část popisuje teoretické přístupy k jevu migrace a procesu integrace a jejich dopad na formování integrační politiky. V praktické části jsou zkoumány prostředky vynakládané na integrační politiku ze státního rozpočtu a fondů Evropské unie a jejich vývoj v čase. Zároveň je tento vývoj porovnáván s vývojem indikátorů integrace cizinců ze třetích zemí za sledované období, na jejichž základě jsou zjištěny některé slabé a silné stránky integrační politiky České republiky. Poměrně dobře integrovaní jsou cizinci ze třetích zemí na trh práce České republiky. Na horší úroveň integrace cizinců naopak poukazují ukazatelé zabývající se úrovní bydlení či vývoj veřejného mínění v otázkách cizinců ze třetích zemí. Vyplývajícím doporučením pro integrační politiku České republiky je tedy její zacílení nejen na cizince ze třetích zemí, ale i na majoritní společnost. |

| Abstract: | The topic of migration is currently still significant. Equally important is the issue of immigrant integration, as the integration process can affect the overall impact of migration on the destination countries. The aim of this thesis is identification and analyses of the cost of immigrant integration during the years 2004 – 2019 in the Czech Republic and also the assessment of the effectiveness of the resources spent. The theoretical part focus on the approaches to the phenomenon of migration and the integration process and their impact on the formation of integration policy. The practical part examines the resources spent on integration policy from the state budget and European Union funds and their development over time. This development is compared with the development of indicators of the integration of third-country nationals for the same time period. Based on these indicators some weaknesses and strengths of the integration policy of the Czech Republic are identified. Foreigners from third countries are relatively well integrated into the Czech labour market. On the other hand, indicators dealing with the level of housing or the development of public opinion on foreigners from third countries point to a worse level of integration of foreigners. Therefore, the recommendation for the integration policy of the Czech Republic is to target not only foreigners from third countries but also the major population. |
