| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá odhadem cenové elasticity poptávky po ručním nářadí na případové studii české kovárny mezi lety 2000-2018. Výchozím teoretickým konceptem je teorie statků dlouhodobé spotřeby obohacená o behaviorální aspekty. Hypotéza práce, formulována jako poptávka po ručním nářadí je cenově elastická, byla pomocí ekonometrického modelu zamítnuta. Z analýzy reprezentativních výrobků vyplývá, že 1% zvýšení ceny cereris paribus způsobí v průměru pokles prodaného množství o 0.31 % pro kladiva, 0.50 % pro předtloukací kladiva a 0.39 % pro palice. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the price elasticity estimation of the demand for hand tools, based on the case study of Czech forge between 2000-2018. The initial theoretical concept according to which hand tools are classified as durable goods, has been enriched with behavioral elements. The main hypothesis of the thesis is defined that a demand for hand tools is price elastic. The hypothesis was rejected by using the econometric model. An analysis of representative products demonstrates, that a 1% increase in the price cereris paribus will result in an average drop in sales of 0.31 % for machinist hammers, 0.50 % for sledgehammers and 0.39 % for mallets. |
