| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá managementem pohledávek v segmentu malých a středních firem v České republice. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká preventivní opatření využívají malé a střední firmy pro ochranu před vznikem pozdě hrazených či nedobytných pohledávek a jaké jsou způsoby vymáhání pohledávek po lhůtě splatnosti. A dále zhodnotit efektivnost řízení pohledávek tohoto segmentu. Pro splnění stanoveného cíle je využit kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření a také analýza dat z veřejně publikovaných účetních závěrek oslovených malých a středních firem. Pro sestavení výběrového souboru je využita informační databáze o českých ekonomických subjektech Albertina. Na základě zvolených metod a postupů je zjištěno, že úroveň správy pohledávek je zpravidla vyšší, o čím větší podnikatelský subjekt se jedná. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is dealing with accounts receivable management in segment of small and medium-sized businesses in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to find what preventive measures are used by small and medium-sized businesses as prevention against late payments or bad debts and also what are the methods of recovery of overdue claims. The thesis also evaluates efficiency of accounts receivable management in this segment. To accomplish the goal of the thesis quantitative research (survey) was used as well as data analysis using data collected from publicly published financial statements of addressed small and medium-sized businesses. To compile a sample Albertina the information database about Czech economic subjects was used. Based on chosen methods and procedures it was find that the level of accounts receivable management is usually higher the bigger the business is. |
