| Abstract: | Předmětem bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení ekonomických dopadů festivalu na cestovní ruch ve městě Ostravě. První část vychází ze studia odborné literatury a je zaměřena na teoretické poznatky o cestovním ruchu a eventech. V praktické části práce jsou zjišťovány a vyhodnocovány ekonomické dopady festivalu, plynoucí především z výdajů návštěvníků. Na základě výsledků šetření jsou stanoveny benefity festivalu projevující se např. nárůstem návštěvnosti a tržeb podniků či památek. Obsahuje výpočet multiplikátoru cestovního ruchu a s ním spojeného zvýšení produkce ekonomiky. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the economical impact of the festival of tourism in Ostrava. The first part is based on the study of literature and is focused on theoretical knowledge about tourism and events. In the practical part of the thesis, the economic impacts of the festival are identified and evaluated. Based on the results of the survey, the festival's benefits manifesting themselves, such as an increase in attendance and sales of businesses or monuments, are determined. It also includes the calculation of the tourism multiplier and the associated increase in the economy's production. |
