| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl zkoumání a popis současného stavu a vyvíjecího charakteru problematiky udržitelného rozvoje v podnikatelském prostředí. První část práce se zaměřuje na původ a cíl koncepce. Druhá část zdůrazňuje podněty některých hráčů na trhu implementujících strategie trvalého udržitelného rozvoje, konkrétněji to spočívá ve větší transparentnosti a informovanosti obyvatelstva, změně preferencí současných a potenciálních zaměstnanců, požadavků investorů a zpřísňování legislativy EU. Třetí část prezentuje současné přístupy a společné trendy pro podnikatelský sektor s podrobnějším soustředěním na odvětví stavebnictví, rychloobrátkového spotřebního zboží a dopravy a ovlivnění úvah trvalého udržitelného rozvoje na korporátní finance. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis aims to examine and describe the current state and evolving character of the concept of Sustainable development, affecting decisions across multiple business sectors. First part of the paper is dedicated to the history and purpose of the concept. It is followed by the second part, focused on several corporate incentives, that drive current market players for the implementation of sustainable strategies in corporate operations (mainly due to the growing demand for transparency from investors, increased accessibility of the information, change in preferences of current and potential employees, and tightening legislation in EU). Third part presents tendencies and examples of corporate approaches incorporating considerations linked to sustainability, with more detailed description for selected industries (building, fast moving consumer goods and transportation) and discusses the influence of these considerations on corporate finance. |
