| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá investičním přístupem/strategií zvanou hodnotové investování a jeho využitím při ocenění akcií veřejně obchodovaných podniků. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. V první kapitole se práce zabývá definováním jednotlivých pojmů z investičního světa, které jsou dále v práci používány. Druhá kapitola čtenáře seznamuje s hodnotovým investováním a jeho základními principy. Třetí kapitola se věnuje teoretickému výběru investice a jejímu ocenění. Poznatky z prvních tří kapitol jsou rozvedeny a aplikovány v posledních dvou kapitolách. Čtvrtá kapitola demonstruje proces výběru akcií („screening“) pomocí stanovených kritérií. Pátá kapitola se pak zabývá oceněním akcií konkrétního podniku. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis deals with an investment approach/strategy called value investing and its use in valuation of publicly shares. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of individual terms from the investment world, which are further used in the thesis. The second chapter introduces value investing and its basic principles to reader. The third chapter deals with the theoretical selection of investment and its valuation. The findings of the first three chapters are elaborated and applied in the last two chapters. The fourth chapter demonstrates the process of stock selection (“screening”) using the set criteria. The fifth chapter deals with the valuation of shares of a particular company. |
