| Abstract: | Předmětem diplomové práce je ekonomický vývoj Čínské lidové republiky od roku 2013. V roce 2013 nastoupil do čela ČLR prezident Xi Jinping, který představil světu nový globální projekt s názvem The Belt and Road Initiative. Jedná se o jeden z nejrozsáhlejších investičních projektů, jaký kdy byl na světě představen s odhadovanými náklady přes 1 trillion čínský juanů. Diplomová práce je strukturována do čtyř na sebe navazujících podkapitol. Nejprve se věnuje historickému vývoji na území dnešní ČLR. Druhá kapitola se zabývá ekonomickým vývojem během 21. století a nástupem nového prezidenta Xi Jinpinga. Následující dvě kapitoly analyzují vývoj makroekonomických ukazatelů během let 2013 až 2018. Dále se zabývají dopady projektu The Belt and Road Initiative na čínskou ekonomiku a rozebírají vliv obchodní války s USA. |

| Abstract: | The subject of the thesis is the economic development of the People’s Republic of China since 2013. In 2013 was elected the new president of PRC Xi Jinping, who introduced to the world a new global project called: The Belt and Road Initiative. It is one of the most significant investment projects which was ever introduced in the world with an estimated cost of over 1 trillion CNY. In the beginning, the thesis is devoted to historical development in the territory of today’s PRC. The second chapter deals with economic development during the 21st century and the election of the Xi Jinping. The following two chapters analyze the evolution of macroeconomic indicators from 2013 to 2018. The thesis also considers the impact of the Belt and Road initiative on the Chinese economy and analyzes the impact of the current US trade war with China. |
