| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce s názvem „Motivace studentů ke studiu na vysoké škole“ pojednáváo motivaci, jež vede studenty k tomu, aby se ucházeli o studium na vysoké škole. Dále takéo tom, co je motivuje setrvat a zdárně dokončit studijní program. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části autorka popisuje vývoj českých vysokých škol a nejdůležitější definice a teorie spojené s motivací. Praktická část je založena na vyhodnocení autorčiných průzkumů. Účastníci těchto průzkumů byli rozřazenido tří skupin, konkrétně na studenty středních škol, kteří se ucházejí o vysokoškolské studium, současné studenty vysokých škol a absolventy vysokých škol. Autorčiným cílem bylo především zjistit, jakou motivaci mají studenti středních škol, jaká je motivace současných studentů vysokých škol, v případě absolventů, zda studia splnila jejich předchozí očekávání. Výsledky výzkumu byly shrnuty a porovnány. Cíle této práce byly splněny. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis entitled “Motivation of students to study at university” deals withthe motivation that leads students to apply for university studies. Furthermore, what motivates them to keep study and successfully complete their study program. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the author describesthe development of the Czech Universities and the most important definitions and theories connected to motivation. The practical part is based on the evaluation of the author's own surveys. The participants of these surveys are composed of three groups specificallythe students from the high school who are planning to apply for the university study programs, and the current university students and university alumni. The author's goal was primarily to find out what kind of motivation the high school students have, whatis the motivation for current university students and, in the case of alumni, whether the studies lived up their previous expectations. The results of the research were summarizedand compared. The objectives of this work have been met. |
