| Abstract: | Trh s hutním materiálem se v posledních letech potýká s poklesem poptávky, cen a agresivnější konkurencí mezi jednotlivými hráči. Vybraná Firma X čelí těmto situacím a zároveň nejistotě z budoucího vývoje. Cílem práce je formulace strategie k zabezpečení konkurenceschopnosti vybrané firmy. Na základě rešerše literatury byly zvoleny modely pro zpracování interní analýzy a analýzy mikroprostředí. Práce vychází z pohledu resource-based view, kde vybrané zdroje firmy byly analyzovány za pomocí modelu VRIO. Pro analýzu a predikci dalšího vývoje na trhu s hutním materiálem byl využit Porterův model pěti sil a analýza konkurenčních skupin. Práce vycházela z kvalitativního zpracování primárních a sekundárních zdrojů. Výstupem práce je formulace strategie k naplnění strategického cíle na nadcházejících pět let, včetně kroků pro implementaci a kontrolu. |

| Abstract: | In recent years, the metallurgical market has been facing a decline in demand, prices and more aggressive competition between players. The chosen Company X faces these situations and uncertainty about future development at the same time. The aim of the thesis is to formulate a strategy to ensure the company’s competitiveness. Based on the literature research, models for internal and microenvironmental analysis were chosen. The thesis is based on the resource-based view, in which selected company resources were analyzed using the VRIO analysis. Porter's Five Forces model and analysis of competing groups were used to analyze and predict further development in the metallurgical market. The thesis was based on qualitative analysis of primary and secondary sources. The outcome of the thesis is the formulation of a strategy to achieve the strategic goal for the next five years including steps for implementation and control. |
