| Abstract: | Tématem bakalářské práce je cestovní ruch v Praze a jeho udržitelný rozvoj. Hlavním cílem je analýza vlivu nočního starosty na cestovní ruch v Praze. Data byla získána pomocí obsahové analýzy a z průzkumu mezi návštěvníky noční Prahy. Metodou komparativní analýzy byla funkce nočního starosty Prahy srovnána s jinými městy ve světě, které funkci zavedly, a dále byl analyzován přínos zavedených opatření pro cestovní ruch. Úvodní kapitola se věnuje typologii cestovního ruchu a druhá kapitola rozebírá udržitelný rozvoj. Následně je představena Praha jako město, analyzována je návštěvnost a nabídka cestovního ruchu. Čtvrtá kapitola podrobně analyzuje noční život v Praze, funkci nočního starosty u nás i ve světě a představuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi návštěvníky noční Prahy, který vyvrací předsudky o opilých zahraničních turistech jako hlavním zdroji rušení nočního klidu. Závěrečná kapitola reflektuje aktuální problémy cestovního ruchu v Praze, kterými jsou overtourism a dopady pandemie nemoci COVID-19 na cestovní ruch v Praze. |

| Abstract: | The topic of the thesis is sustainable development of tourism in Prague. The primary purpose of this thesis is to analyse the impact of a night mayor on tourism in Prague. Data were obtained from a content analysis and from a research among night visitors of Prague. The night mayor of Prague was compared to other night mayors in the world with the help of a comparative analysis method. Furthermore, it was analysed the contribution of adopted measures of the night mayor for tourism in Prague. First chapter looks into the theory of tourism and the second one focuses on the sustainable development. Third chapter involves general information on Prague, supply of tourism and analysis of number of visits. Fourth chapter provides an overview of the Prague´s nightlife, it investigates the role of the night mayor and it reveals the results of the research among night visitors of Prague. The results refute common prejudices concerning foreign drunk tourists being the main source of the night rest interference. Last chapter reflects current issues of tourism in Prague, such as overtourism or impact of COVID-19 pandemic on tourism in Prague. |
