| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnou podobou systému sociálního zabezpečení v České republice a dávkami, z nichž je tento systém složen. Cílem práce je zjistit, při kterých sociálních událostech je krytí poskytované systémem sociálního zabezpečení dostatečné a při kterých událostech je lepší využít možnosti komerčního zajištění. V první části práce je pomocí literární rešerše vytvořen ucelený přehled zabývající se problematikou sociální politiky, systémem sociálního zabezpečení a problematikou komerčního pojištění. V části aplikační, jež na tyto kapitoly navazuje, jsou naformulovány čtyři modely typických českých rodin, jež se od sebe navzájem odlišují počtem svých členů a výší příjmů. Tyto rodiny jsou následně vystaveny nejčastějším rizikovým sociálním událostem, jejichž dopad na finanční situaci je zkoumán. Tento dopad je porovnáván s dopadem v případě využití možnosti komerčního zajištění. Výstupem každé simulace je závěr, zda je rodina v případě konkrétní rizikové situace dostatečně kryta sociálním systémem či zda je pro ni lepší využít možnosti komerčního pojištění. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on current form of social security system in the Czech Republic and the allowances, which it is composed of. The aim of this thesis is finding out, which social occurrence is sufficiently covered by the social security system and in case of which is more favourable to use the opportunity of the commercial insurance. The first part of the thesis is composed of the literature review of the topics of the social policy, the social security system, and the commercial insurance. In the practical part four model of the typical Czech families are formulated. These models differ in the number of its members and in the amount of income. The model families are exposed to the most frequent social occurrences whose influence on the family financial situation is researched. This influence is compared with the influence in the case of using the opportunity of the commercial insurance. The conclusion of every simulation is decision, whether in the case of social occurrence the family is sufficiently covered by the social security system, or if it is more favourable to use the opportunity of the commercial insurance. |
