Agrotourism in eastern Bohemia

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate selected agritourism farms in eastern Bohemia in terms of provided services and to compare the Hradec Králové and Pardubice regions. Another goal is the creation of final recommendations for selected agritourism farms, due to which it would be possible to increase the occupancy and profits of the selected farms.In the proces of solution, it was used a qualitative method in the form of controlled interviews conducted with the owners of agrotourism farms and also a quantitative method in which questionnaires were used for the guests of the selected farms. In the comparison of regions, the Hradec Králové Region shows better results based on the set criteria, for example according to the arrival of tourists it is the more visited region. Based on this data, recommendations have been made to help establish higher farms occupancy and profits. It is important to focus advertising as much as possible on the target group, which is according to the research - families with children. It is proposed to use event marketing, for instance organizing thematic events. It is also considered to be important to place more emphasis on the use of the premises of the facilities more for groups from the business sphere, for example to hold meetings, conferences, staff training and to use them less by the public (for family celebrations, etc.) It is also appropriate to follow the latest trends by the farms, such as cycling, client demand for higher quality services and preference for shorter but more frequent stays.
