| Abstract: | Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza těžby kryptoměn. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy. Teoretická část se dále zabývá Bitcoinem a jeho použitím, těžbou a jejími způsoby, alternativními kryptoměnami a hrozbami spojenými s těžbou kryptoměn. Autor udává také ucelený pohled na historii těžby, cenu elektrické energie a zdanění kryptoměn. Praktická část se věnuje komparaci těžby Bitcoinu a Monera. V této analýze je popsáno nastavení zařízení vhodného k těžbě, dále jsou porovnávány podmínky, za kterých je těžba profitabilní. Výsledky vyvozené analýzou se jeví pro těžaře kryptoměn jako nepříznivé. Tato práce ve svých závěrech ukázala, že těžba kryptoměn se v současné době v České republice nevyplatí. Problémem je vyšší cena elektrické energie a nižší hodnota sledovaných kryptoměn. Autor proto investování do zařízení pro těžbu kryptoměn nedoporučuje. |

| Abstract: | The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of cryptocurrency mining. The theoretical part covers the basic concepts of mining, Bitcoin usage, altcoins and threats of cryptocurrency mining. Author gives complete overview of the history of mining, prices of electricity and the taxation of cryptocurrencies in the Czech Republic. The practical part focuses on the comparison of Bitcoin and Monero mining. The thesis also points out some of the models, which can make cryptocurrency mining profitable. The outcomes of the thesis present, that in the current situation, the mining of both cryptocurrencies is not profitable. Therefore, the author cannot recommend investing into the hardware, which is necessary for this activity. |
