| Abstract: | Vzhledem k tomu, že je vietnamská komunita jednou z největších cizineckých skupin v České republice, je důležité zjistit, jak přemýšlí první generace Vietnamců žijící v ČR. Cílem práce je zjistit odpovědi na otázky proč přišli do ČR a proč začali podnikat. Cíl byl dosažen pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se sedmi vietnamskými podnikateli. Z rozhovorů vyšlo najevo, že chudoba, nízké příjmy a špatná životní úroveň ve Vietnamu sehrála důležitou roli v příchodu Vietnamců do ČR. Dále bylo zjištěno, že legalizace pobytu, osamostatnění se a jazyková neznalost měli vliv na rozhodnutí začít podnikat. |

| Abstract: | Since the Vietnamese community is one of the largest foreign groups in the Czech Republic, it is important to find out how the first generation of Vietnamese living in the Czech Republic thinks. The objective of the thesis was to find out answers to the questions why they came to the Czech Republic and why they started a business. The objective was achieved through semi-structured interviews with seven Vietnamese entrepreneurs. The interview reveald that poverty, low incomes and poor living standars in Vietnam played an important role in the arrival of Vietnamese in Czech Republic. It was also found that legalization of residence, independence and langueage skills had an impact on the decision to start a business. |
