Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem executive koučinku jakožto metody rozvoje vysoce postavených zaměstnanců nebo manažerů s vysokým potenciálem. Konkrétně práce porovnává situaci v České republice a ve Spojených státech amerických. Cílem této práce je porovnat vnímání a aktivní využívání executive koučinku ve dvou zmiňovaných zemích, s přihlédnutím k rozlišným kulturním rysům těchto dvou společností. Pro splnění cíle byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum mezi českými a americkými manažery. Práce uvádí do teorie a historie koučinku, vymezuje koučink oproti ostatním oborům a popisuje průběh executive koučinku. Dále práce analyzuje vliv kulturních paradigmat na koučování a komparuje současnou situaci v obou zemích. |

Abstract: | The thesis deals with the topic of executive coaching as a method of developing high-ranking employees or managers, who have high potential. Specifically, the thesis compares the situation in the Czech Republic with that in the United States of America. The aim of this work is to compare the perception and active use of executive coaching in the two countries, taking into account the different cultural features of both geographies. To accomplish this goal, quantitative research was conducted between Czech and American managers. The thesis introduces the theory and history of coaching, defines coaching compared to other fields and describes the course of executive coaching. Furthermore, the work analyzes the influence of cultural paradigms on coaching and compares the current situation in both countries. |
