| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na právní aspekty spolupráce mezi Mexikem a Evropskou unií. Hlavním cílem práce je seznámení čtenáře s historickým vývojem obchodní spolupráce mezi danými státy. Práce podrobně analyzuje zásadní články každé doposud přijaté dohody a interpretuje je na praktických příkladech. Čtenáři se také seznámí se spory, které v rámci Světové obchodní organizace Mexiko a Evropská unie měly. Nejdůležitější částí této práce je pak analýza modernizované Souborné dohody z roku 1997. Čtenáři jsou postupně provázeni hlavní směry nové mexicko-evropské spolupráce. Na dohodu je dále nahlíženo i z praktického hlediska, a to sice jakým způsobem se budou obchodní styky po ratifikaci Dohody s největší pravděpodobností vyvíjet. V neposlední řadě jsou vztahy zemí EU a Mexika zasazeny do kontextu celého Latinskoamerického regionu. |

| Abstract: | The Bachelor thesis focuses on the legal aspects of cooperation between Mexico and the European Union. The main goal of this paper is to introduce readers to the historical development of trade cooperation between the countries mentioned above. The paper also analyzes in detail the essential articles of each agreement that has been adopted so far and interprets them by providing practical examples. Readers will also find out about the disputes that Mexico and the European Union had under within the World Trade Organization system of disputes. The most essential part of the paper is the analysis of the modernization of the Global Agreement from 1997. Readers will become familiar with the main directions of the new Mexican-European cooperation. The agreement is also judged from a practical point of view – specifying how trade relations will most likely develop once the Agreement is ratified. Last but not least, relations between the EU and Mexico are set in the context of the entire Latin American region. |
