| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem a úlohou služeb v Japonsku s důrazem na jejich využití v problematice stárnutí. První kapitola mapuje teorii třísektorového modelu, jeho nedostatky a moderní přístupy ke zkoumání vývoje ekonomik. Závěr teoretické části je věnován klasifikacím ISIC, JSIC a vytvoření modelu pro tuto práci. Cílem druhé kapitoly je analýza vývoje ekonomické struktury v Japonsku se zaměřením na roli sektoru služeb a jeho vztah k ostatním sektorům. Zároveň je zkoumán vliv zaměstnanosti, investic, složení HDP i struktura sektoru služeb a jeho vývoj v souvislosti se světovým děním od konce 2. světové války. Po vymezení teoretického rámce a analýze role sektoru služeb v japonské ekonomice se tato práce zaměří na problematiku stárnutí. Cílem třetí kapitoly je určit dopady stárnutí na ekonomiku Japonska, včetně popsání příčiny vzniku problematiky stárnutí, současného vývoje v této oblasti a nastínění budoucích trendů. Poslední kapitola propojuje poznatky z předchozích částí a věnuje se určení oblastí v rámci sektoru služeb, které mají potenciál pro využití na zmírnění dopadů stárnutí v japonské ekonomice. Na základě analýzy této práce vyplývá, že vývoj japonské ekonomiky je navázán na stabilitu sektoru služeb, v jehož struktuře se nachází několik potenciálních odvětví a doporučení, jež mohou zmírnit některé z dopadů stárnutí. Závěrem práce jsou uvedeny i příklady aktivit z veřejného i soukromého sektoru, které ilustrují zavedení některých z doporučení v praxi. |

| Abstract: | The present thesis focuses on the service sector role and development in Japan, with a particular emphasis on using the services to address demographic aging. The first chapter describes the three-sector model, its weaknesses and contemporary approaches to economic-development research. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the ISIC and JSIC, and creates a basic model for the thesis. The objective of the second chapter is analysis of the economical development in Japan, stressing the role of the service sector and its relation to the remaining sectors, as well as impacts of the employment, investments, GDP composition and service sector structure and its development based on the world events from the end of the WWII. Next, the thesis focuses on the demographic aging. The third chapter objective is to determine the impact of aging on the Japanese economy, including description of the aging causes, contemporary development in this area and estimation of the future trends. The last chapter integrates the findings from the previous chapters and determines the spheres of the service sector with useful potential for mitigating the consequences of the aging for Japanese economy. The conclusions based on this thesis reveal that the development of Japanese economy is closely related to the service sector stability, in which there are potential spheres and recommendations which can help to mitigate some of the impacts of the aging. In the end of the thesis there can be found examples of activites from both the public and the private sectors, which illustrate implementing these measures into practice. |
