| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vymezení konceptu smart city a využití chytrých technologií v odpadovém hospodářství, a to zejména při sběru odpadu. Cílem baka-lářské práce je zhodnotit provoz chytrých košů na území vybraných měst – Pracha-tic, Hradce Králové, Prahy 5 – Anděl a Prahy 17 a provést jejich analýzu odpadu. Práce přináší odpovědi na výzkumné otázky týkající se ekologické stránky chytrých košů a ekonomické stránky ve vazbě k účelnosti, hospodárnosti a efektivnosti pro-vozu chytrý košů ve vybraných městech. Stanovuje výhody a nevýhody chytrých košů, jejich příležitosti a rizika. Přináší doporučení pro provoz chytrých košů, která povedou k omezení jejich slabých stránek. Tato doporučení byla provedena na zá-kladě analýzy provozu chytrých košů ve vybraných městech. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the delimitation of the smart city concept and the usage of smart technologies in waste management, especially within the waste collection. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the operation of smart bins in specific cities – Prachatice, Hradec Kralove, Prague 5 – Andel and Prague 17 and to analyse the waste that each city had produced. The thesis brings the answers to researched questions regarding the ecological aspect of smart bins and the economic aspect linked to the efficiency as well as the economy and effectiveness of the operation of the smart bins in selected cities. It determines the advantages and disadvantages of the smart bins, their opportunities and the risks they pose. It delivers suggestions for the working process of the smart bins which will lead to the reduction of the weak sides. These recommendations were created based on the analysis of the smart bins operations in selected cities. |
