| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou nemocnosti seniorské populace a nákladů na tyto nemoci a dále sociálními službami určené této skupině v České republice. Stárnutí populace patří k důležitým změnám, které tato doba přináší a je tedy potřeba včasně reagovat ze strany státu a sociálních programů, ale také ze strany samotných rodin pečujících o starší osoby. Diplomová práce porovnává vybraná onemocnění, které se v seniorské skupině vyskytují velmi často a do budoucna mohou znamenat výrazné dopady, mezi tyto nemoci patří novotvary, kardiovaskulární nemoci a duševní nemoci, především demence. Byla porovnána úmrtnost dle těchto příčin a incidence těchto nemocí v populaci. Byly popsány preventivní programy fungující v současné době a které by bylo do budoucna potřeba zřídit. V oblasti zdravotní péče byly kromě financování pomocí zdravotního pojištění popsány náklady na konkrétní diagnózy a míra účasti na preventivních prohlídkách. Po stránce sociálních služeb byly porovnány především kapacity pobytových zařízeních, které jsou již v současné době nedostatečné a dále výdaje na sociální služby pro seniory. Práce je zakončena predikcí nákladů na léčbu nemocí a nákladů na sociální služby. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the issue of illness of the senior population and the cost of these diseases, as well as social services intended for this group in the Czech Republic. The aging of the population is one of the important changes that this period brings and it is therefore necessary to respond in a timely manner by the state and social programs, but also by the families themselves caring for the elderly. The diploma thesis compares selected diseases that occur very often in the senior group and may have significant impacts in the future, these diseases include neoplasms, cardiovascular diseases, and mental illnesses, especially dementia. The causes of death of these diseases and the incidence were compared. Preventive programs currently in operation and which would be set up in the future were described. In the area of health care, in addition to financing through health insurance, the cost of specific diagnoses and the degree of participation in preventive examinations were described. In terms of social services, the capacities of residential services, which are already insufficient, as well as expenditure on social services for elderly, were compared. The thesis ends with the prediction of the costs of disease treatment and the costs of social services. |
