Identification of areas for chatbots implementation in the insurance industry

This bachelor thesis focuses on identification of areas for chatbots implementation in the insurance industry. Thesis contains research of chatbots in the insurance industry, which includes among other things, impact of chatbots on the insurance industry, use cases of chatbots in the insurance industry and description of the chatbot planning process. Thesis also includes a selection of chatbot development platforms that can be used in the insurance industry. Acquired knowledge from mentioned research is being used to determine method, which is used to identify areas for chatbots implementation. The chosen method was identifying areas based on departments that are present in insurance company NN Czech Republic. Findings from research were also used to determine the criteria that are later used to select specific solution for chatbot implementation in selected areas.Main benefit of this work is identification of areas for chatbots implementation in the insurance industry. Additional benefits of this work are research in the field of current impact of chatbots in the insurance industry and overview of chatbot development platforms that can be used in the insurance industry.

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci oblastí pro implementaci chatbota v pojišťovnictví. Práce obsahuje rešerši chatbotů v pojišťovnictví, která zahrnuje mimo jiné vliv chatbotů na odvětví pojišťovnictví, případy použití chatbotů v pojišťovnictví a popis procesu plánování chatbota. V práci se také nachází výběr platforem vhodných k umístění chatbota v pojišťovnictví. Získané poznatky jsou použity při výběru metody identifikace oblastí chatbota, konkrétně identifikace oblastí podle oddělení společnosti NN Česká republika. Poznatky z rešerše byly také použity při určení kritérií, podle kterých jsou vybrány konkrétní možnosti implementace chatbota v identifikovaných oblastech.Hlavní přínos této práce je identifikace oblastí, které jsou vhodné pro implementaci chatbota v pojišťovnictví. Vedlejší přínosy práce jsou výsledky rešerše aktuálního vlivu chatbotů v pojišťovnictví a přehled vhodných platforem na kterých může být chatbot v pojišťovnictví umístěn.
