| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá hodnocením bezpečnosti aplikací pro instant messaging a jejich další požadované funkcionality jako nástrojů pro komunikaci v malém IT týmu. Hodnocení je prováděno hlavně na základě použitých kryptografických funkcí použitých pro end to end šifrování v dané aplikaci a bezpečnost těchto algoritmů podle reportů organizací ENCRYPT csa a NIST.Další hodnocenou funkcionalitou je hlavně možnost napojení externích systémů, jako například reporting serveru, do komunikací s relevantními členy týmu.Aplikace byly vybrány z již neaktuálního porovnání EFF, ze kterého byly odstraněny aplikace s ukončenou podporou a výsledné aplikace byly jedna po druhé hodnoceny podle dříve stanovených kritérií.Na základě těchto hodnocení byla, jako doplněk pro snadnou vizualizaci a rychlou orientaci ve výsledcích, sestavena tabulka, ze které snadno vyčteme základní informace potřebné pro výběr kandidátů k nasazení. |

| Abstract: | Main goal of this thesis is to asses security of instant messaging apps and their suitability as a tool for communication in small teams and whether they have all required functionality for the needs of an IT team.The main area that was assessed was the security of cryptographic functions used for end to end encryption based on reports from agencies ENCRYPT csa and NIST.Other functionality was assessed as well, mainly the ability to interface with other systems as it is desirable to be able to have servers use these channels to report to relevant team members.Application list was compiled from now outdated EFF app comparison. Apps that have reached end of life were removed and the rest was assessed by the criteria set in the thesis.A table was created based on these assessments to help visualise the suitability of the apps at first glance and to help easily find candidates to be considered by the teams for deployment. |
