| Abstract: | Předmětem práce je Plavecký stadion v Podolí, jedinečná stavba české poválečné architektury, dodnes funkční a pro návštěvníky atraktivní areál s mnoha kulturními hodnotami. Popisuje historii areálu, jeho dosavadní vývoj včetně technických zásahů, představuje architektonickou hodnotu projektu a zakomponovaná výtvarná díla. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakými metodami je možné co nejefektivněji chránit kulturní hodnoty areálu, který není prohlášen památkou a jeho vlastník se při zásazích do stavby nemusí řídit pravidly památkové péče. Kvalitativní výzkum byl prováděn formou rešerší současné i dobové dokumentace a formou rozhovorů se zainteresovanými aktéry. |

| Abstract: | The Theses focuses on the building of the Swimming Stadium in Podolí as a unique building of Czech post-war architecture representing cultural values, still functional and attractive for visitors. It examines the history of the area, its development, including reconstructions and technical interventions, presents the architectural value of the project and the incorporated works of art. The aim of the theses is to find out which methods can be as effective as possible to protect the cultural values of the area, which is not declared a monument and its owner does not have to follow the rules of monument care when interfering with the building. Qualitative research was carried out in the form of a search of current and contemporary documentation and interviews with stakeholders. |
