Reporting Application Design of Historical Data of National Comparative Exams of the Company Scio

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design reporting application software, focusing on historical data of National Comparative Exams of the company Scio, which extends information support of the department of customer support center Scio. The results are being attained with the help of sectioning. Firstly, characterized is the company Scio, product National Comparative Exams and then the customer support center. Based on said characteristics evaluations were made which suggest the need of extension of the information support of customer support center in a form of a report application, which is classified as a Business Intelligence application. After the theoretical description of Business Intelligence all of the expected attributes and outputs of said application, which are subsequently analyzed and adjusted accordingly to functional and non-functional requests are being determined. The functional requests are graphically illustrated with the help of Use Case diagram. Moreover, the identified requests are used as a foundation for the proposal itself of the pilot application, which is then worked with in the software Power Pivot. The resulting application will provide employees of the customer support center with analytically processed historical data of the aforementioned National Comparative Exams in the form of a report, thanks to which the working quality will be raised and subsequently the customers which seek out said data will be complied with.
