| Abstract: | Práce uvádí historické příklady dezinformací, popisuje vývoj dezinformačních metod a metod pro manipulaci s multimediálními záznamy obecně. Popisuje zejména nejnovější technologii, která přichází na tuto scénu – umělá inteligence používaná pro manipulaci s fotografiemi, videi a zvukem neboli deepfake. V práci jsou popsány využití a hrozby této technologie. Současné možnosti deepfake technologie jsou demonstrovány skrze video, na kterém je zaměněn obličej původní osoby za osobu, která ve videu původně nefigurovala. Toho je dosaženo za použití aplikace Faceswap, která za tímto účelem používá neuronové sítě. |

| Abstract: | This thesis lists historical examples of disinformation and describes the development of disinformation methods as well as techniques used to manipulate multimedia in general. It focuses on describing a new technology coming to this scene – artificial intelligence used to alter photographs, video, or sound, also called deepfake. This thesis describes the use and threats of this technology. The current possibilities of this technology are demonstrated through the creation of a video where one person’s face is swapped for another person’s face. The video is created using Faceswap – software that utilizes neural networks to create deepfakes. |
