Analysis of diversity in a selected company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of diversity in a selected company. The aim of the thesis is to explore the way of managing diversity in the selected company. To achieve this aim, the current settings in the field of diversity are evaluated by using the analysis of the internal documents and a method of questionnaire survey. Furthermore, the thesis also focuses on gender equality. The theoretical part acquaints the reader with the terminology in the field of diversity and deals with the particular pillars of the concept. Moreover, the current situation on the labour market is assessed. The practical part consists of a concise introduction of the chosen company, analysis of the activities focused on diversity, besides the results of the questionnaire surveys. The company's employees hardly feel discriminated and the company’s culture is considered to be inclusive.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou rozmanitosti ve vybrané firmě. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem vybraná firma řídí diverzitu. Současná nastavení v oblasti rozmanitosti jsou v práci zhodnocena prostřednictvím využití analýzy interních dokumentů a kvantitativní metody dotazníkového průzkumu. Pozornost je věnována i rovnosti pohlaví. Teoretická část čtenáře seznamuje s terminologií v oblasti diverzity a věnuje se jednotlivým pilířům konceptu. Kromě toho je na základě dostupných dat zhodnocena aktuální situace na trhu práce. V praktické části je stručně představena zkoumaná firma, dále jsou analyzovány aktivity zaměřené na diverzitu a vyhodnocené výsledky dotazníkových průzkumů. Zaměstnanci firmy téměř nepociťují diskriminaci a firemní kulturu považují za inkluzivní.
