| Abstract: | Předmětem práce jsou umělecká díla, která jsou významnou součástí veřejného prostoru na sídlišti Novodvorská (Praha 4) a mají zjevnou uměleckou hodnotu a význam pro své okolí. Práce sleduje rozdílné zacházení s každým vybraným dílem a jejich technický stav. Přináší příklady dobré i špatné péče o tato díla, které je možné zobecnit. Práce vymezuje základní pojmy týkající se tématu, srovnává legislativní opatření související s investicemi do umění ve veřejném prostoru z doby před rokem 1989 a po něm. Mapuje projekty, které se zabývají problematikou ohrožených děl ve veřejném prostoru. Cílem práce je na základě těchto konkrétních případů definovat klíčové faktory, které ovlivňují existenci uměleckého díla ve veřejném prostoru. Kvalitativní výzkum je opřen o dostupnou literaturu a rozhovory s pracovníky institucí zajišťující péči o umění ve veřejném prostoru. |

| Abstract: | The subject of the thesis are works of art, which are an important part of the public space in the Novodvorská housing estate (Prague 4) and have an obvious artistic value and significance for their surroundings. The thesis monitors the different treatment of each selected artwork and their technical condition. It provides examples of good and bad treatment of these artworks, which can be generalized. The thesis defines the basic concepts related to the topic, compares legislative measures related to investment in art in public space from before and after 1989. It maps projects that deal with the issue of endangered artworks in public space. The aim of the thesis is to define the key factors that affect the existence of an artwork in public space based on these examples. Qualitative research is based on available literature and interviews with employees of institutions that are taking care of artworks in public spaces. |
