Relationship of moral foundations with qualities of self-care and personal well-being on a sample of Korean students of management and economics

| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda existuje statisticky signifikantní vztah mezi morálními základy a vlastní účinností, sebe-láskou, prožíváním společného lidství a schopnosti odpouštět v korejském prostředí. Výsledky (N=117) lineárních regresí ukazují, že existuje pozitivní vztah mezi liberálními morálními základy a vlastní účinností, prožíváním společného lidství a schopností odpouštět. Ostatní vztahy nebyly analýzou podpořeny. Liberální morální základy se prokázaly jako dobrý základ pro rozvoj vlastní účinnosti, schopnosti odpouštět a lidského propojení. Tato práce zároveň ukázala nutnost přezkoumat rozložení morálních pilířů v Jižní Koreji, která se svými výsledky odlišuje od ostatních kolektivistických zemí. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between moral foundations and other qualities, such as self-efficacy, self-kindness, common humanity and ability to forgive in Korean environment. The results (N = 117) of linear regressions show that there is a positive relationship between liberal moral foundations and self-efficacy, common humanity, and the ability to forgive. Other relationships were not supported by the analysis. Liberal moral foundations have proven to be a good basis for developing one's own effectiveness, ability to forgive and human connection. This work also showed need to examine distribution of moral pillars in South Korea, which differs in its results from other collectivist countries. |
