| Abstract: | Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat, jak několik velkých měst naplňuje vize Smart Cities, a poté navrhnout, jaké získané poznatky lze aplikovat v hl. m. Praze. Na základě analýzy Londýna, Barcelony, Amsterdamu a Singapuru byla pomocí porovnání s aktuální situací v hl. m. Praze navržena vhodná řešení pro Prahu. Vzhledem k podobnostem Prahy a Amsterdamu vyplývá, že je vhodné, aby Praha následovala strategii Amsterdamu. Dále byly doporučeny iniciativy a projekty, které by mohla Praha aplikovat po vzoru Londýna, Barcelony nebo Singapuru. Práce poukazuje na několik oblastí, jež mohou představovat podnikatelské příležitosti pro firmy a také sloužit jako zdroj inspirace jiným iniciátorům inovací v oblasti Smart Cities. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this work was to explore how several large cities fulfill their vision of Smart Cities, and then to suggest what knowledge can be applied in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. Based on the analysis of London, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Singapore and by means of a comparison with the current situation in Prague suitable solutions for Prague were proposed. Given the similarities between Prague and Amsterdam it shows that it is appropriate for Prague to follow Amsterdam's strategy. Furthermore, initiatives and projects were recommended that Prague could apply following the example of London, Barcelona or Singapore. The work points out several areas that can represent business opportunities for companies and also serves as a source of inspiration for other initiators of innovation in the field of Smart Cities. |
