| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena jednak na vymezení nových pojmů spojených s tématem Smart Cities a dále také na zmapování situace v hlavních městech zemí EU. Cílem je vytvoření komparace hlavního města Prahy a dalších vybraných evropských metropolí. K praktické části diplomové práce byla využita sekundární data, která byla přepočtena do jednotného tvaru, aby bylo možné provést komparaci. Na základě výsledků komparace a dalších sekundárních dat byla vytvořena SWOT analýza města Prahy a byla navrhnuta chytrá řešení, která by ve svém rozvoji mohla Praha využívat. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis is focused on defining new concepts related to the topic of Smart Cities and also on mapping the situation in the capital cities of EU countries. The aim is to create a comparison of the capital city of Prague and other selected European capitals. For the practical part of the diploma thesis secondary data were used. This data were recalculated into a uniform form in order to make a comparison. Based on the results of the comparison and other secondary data a SWOT analysis of the city of Prague was created and smart solutions were proposed that Prague could use in its development. |
