Abstract:
This master thesis focuses on the emerging Interim management trend as on the flexible form of employment in the concurrent business sphere. Interim management is a time-limited provision of management services to a client organisation based on a contractual basis. The thesis aims are to provide an extensive overview of the concept from various perspectives and to outline its future development and relevance. The text of this paper is divided into two main parts. The first part contains theoretical background which captures the fundamental principles behind the concept, offers its potential uses, and develops a framework for the practical part. The second empirical part includes first the secondary study of Interim management’s advantages and disadvantages and then the primary research, which seeks to answer the formulated research question. Then, the work is concluded with concise recommendations.
