| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice korupce a jejímu vlivu na změnuekonomické výkonnosti v případě vybraného vzorku zemí. Práce je členěna dodvou částí: první část představuje teoretický pohled na téma a vymezuje základnírysy, příčiny vzniku, důsledky a metodiky měření korupce. Druhá část práce jepraktická, jejím předmětem je korelační analýza mezi vybranými ukazatelivyjadřujícími hospodářskou výkonnost a míru korupce ve zkoumaných zemích.Cílem korelační analýzy je zjistit existenci a případný charakter vztahu mezizkorumpovaností státu a účinností jeho ekonomiky. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis analyses the phenomenon of corruption and its impact oneconomic performance for selected sample of countries. The first part of the thesispresents a theoretical view of the topic and defines the basic characteristics ofcorruption, causes of its origin, consequences and measurement methodologies.The second part is practical and includes a correlation analysis of selectedindicators describing economic performance and the level of corruption. The goalof the correlation analysis is to determine the existence and possible character ofrelationship between the corruption perception and the efficiency of an economicsystem. |
