| Abstract: | Diplomová práce s názvem Podpora esportu v České republice přináší komplexní pohled na toto nové a rychle rozvíjející se odvětví. Z teoretického pohledu seznamuje čtenáře se základním vymezením esportu, jeho vývojem, strukturou, významnými turnaji, ale i s ekonomickým fungováním. Z praktického pohledu je v práci za pomoci osobní komunikace s aktéry v oblasti esportu a státních orgánů zkoumána aktuální situace esportu v České republice a jeho podpora. Na základě výsledků rozhovorů v syntéze s již aplikovanými modely podpory esportu v zahraničí nabízí práce návrh možných řešení pro tuto oblast. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis titled Funding of esports in the Czech Republic provides a comprehensive view of this rapidly developing new industry. From a theoretical point of view, it acquaints the reader with the definition of esports, its development, structure, major tournaments and economic operation. From a practical point of view, this thesis examines the current situation of esports in the Czech Republic and its support with participants in the field of esports and with state authorities. Based on the results of the interviews in conjunction with models of esport funding in other countries, this work offers a proposal for possible solutions for esports in the Czech Republic. |
