This bachelor thesis is devoted to the analysis of the Kyiv metro. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the basic theoretical aspects of urban public transport, tariff and check-in systems. Afterwards, there are given basic information about Kyiv, the characteristics of its transport system and the history of the development of the underground in Kyiv. The practical part contains an analysis of the current state of selected elements of the Kyiv metro (lines, rolling stock, tariff and check-in systems) and its strategy for future development. The final part consists of an analysis of the problems of the Kyiv underground based on the collection and analysis of available data and proposing theoretically possible ways to solve it. |
