| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem společenské odpovědnosti firem (CSR). Cílem práce je zhodnocení společensky odpovědných aktivit vybraných společností z českého bankovního sektoru. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První, teoreticko – metodologická část, obsahuje teoretický základ k dané problematice, zaměřuje se na přínosy CSR, její jednotlivé pilíře a současné trendy včetně jejího reportování. Praktická část obsahuje zhodnocení společensky odpovědných aktivit vybraných společností a provedení vlastního výzkumu ve formě dotazníkového šetření, skrze který bylo zjišťováno, jak CSR vnímá široká veřejnost a jaké povědomí má o CSR aktivitách analyzovaných společností. Na základě zjištění byla navržena doporučení ke zlepšení, která by mohla v budoucnu vést k zefektivnění této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the topic of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The aim of the work is to evaluate the activities of selected companies from the Czech banking sector. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical – methodological part, includes the theoretical background of corporate social responsibility concept and it is focused on its benefits, the three CSR pillars and actual trends including its reporting. The practical part contains an evaluation of socially responsible activities of selected companies and the conduction of a questionnaire survey, which found out how CSR is perceived by the general public and what awareness they have about the CSR activities of the analyzed companies. Based on the findings, recommendations for improvement were proposed. |
