| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku výročních zpráv, jejich legislativní úpravu a jejich porovnání ve vybraných státech. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je věnována pozornost výroční zprávě jako takové, jejímu účelu, obsahu a také jejím uživatelům. Ve druhé části jsou rozebírány legislativy upravující výroční zprávu a požadavky, které tyto legislativy stanovují v České republice, Spojených státech a Velké Británii. Jsou zde kladeny otázky jako kdo má vlastně povinnost zprávu vyhotovit, jak má vypadat její struktura, obsah a komu a jak musí být reportována. V třetí části jsou rozebírány a porovnávány dvě české a dvě americké výroční zprávy. Je zde také diskutováno, jak zprávy splňují zákonem stanovené požadavky a zda vybrané společnosti dostatečně využívají marketingový potenciál svých zpráv. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of annual reports, the legislation governing them and the comparison among selected countries. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part an annual report is being discussed itself, its purpose, content and its users. The second part goes through the legislation governing an annual report and the requirements set by the legislation in the Czech Republic, the United States and the United Kingdom. There are being asked questions such as who is obliged to prepare the report, how the structure and content are supposed to look like and to whom and how it must be reported. In the third part, two Czech and two American annual reports are being analyzed and compared. There is also a discussion if the reports meet the statutory requirements and whether the selected companies leverage enough the marketing potential of their reports. |
