| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací sociálních modelů využívaných v České republice a ve Velké Británii. Tuto komparaci autor doplňuje o SWOT analýzu těchto dvou modelů. Cílem práce je zhodnotit, který sociální model je obecně efektivnější pro fungování trhu práce a zda jsou liberální myšlenky v sociální politice nadále žádoucí. Při zpracovávání práce autor dochází k závěru, že oba sledované sociální modely jsou si hodně podobné a nelze jednoznačně určit, který je efektivnější pro fungování trhu práce. Oba modely působí pozitivněji na trh práce vždy v určité oblasti. Zároveň dochází k závěrům, že lepší fungování trhu práce vykazuje model, který se chová liberálněji v dané oblasti. Za nejdůležitější oblast shledává autor minimální mzdu a dochází k závěrům, že nižší minimální mzda nejspíše zapříčinila lepší výkon ekonomiky v budoucnu. Na základě makroekonomických dat, závěrem autor vytváří doporučení pro efektivnější fungování trhu práce v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of social models used in the Czech Republic and in Great Britain. The author complements this comparison with a SWOT analysis of these two models. The aim of the work is to evaluate which social model is generally more effective for the functioning of the labor market and whether liberal ideas in social policy remain desirable. When processing the work, the author concludes that the two monitored social models are very similar and it is not possible to clearly determine which is more effective for the functioning of the labor market. Both models have a more positive effect on the labor market, always in a certain area of the labor market. Concurrently, the author concludes that a better functioning of the labor market shows a model that behaves more liberally in the given area. The author finds the minimum wage to be the most important area and concludes that a lower minimum wage is likely to have led to better economic performance in the future. Based on macroeconomic data, in conclusion, the author makes recommendations for a more efficient functioning of the labor market in the Czech Republic. |
