| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje roli controllingu v bance. V diplomové práci jsou popsány důvody a přínosy zavedení controllingu v bance, definovány jeho úkoly a vymezeny nástroje a klíčové ukazatele, které využívá pro hodnocení výkonnosti banky. V praktické části diplomové práce následuje analýza role controllingu v konkrétní bance (Česká spořitelna, a.s.) a jeho využití při hodnocení výkonnosti pobočkové sítě dané banky. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the role of controlling within banks. Its first part's main goal is to provide description of reasons and benefits coming from controlling department establishment, to define its tasks and to describe its tools and key measures commonly used in bank performance evaluation. The second part of the thesis aims to create an analysis of practical role of controlling in a selected bank (Česká spořitelna, a.s.) and its particular and practical usage for branch network performance assessment. |
