| Abstract: | Tématem bakalářské práce je veřejné zdravotní pojištění. V první části práce obecně charakterizuji zdravotní pojištění a popisuji systém v České republice. Práce se dále zabývá dalšími možnostmi financování zdravotnictví ve světě a uvádím konkrétní příklady na vybraných státech. Druhá část práce srovnává Českou republiku se státy V4 a Evropské unie na základě vybraných statistických ukazatelů. |

| Abstract: | The topic of the bachelor thesis is public health insurance. In the first part of the paper I generally characterize health insurance and describe the system in the Czech Republic. Paper also deals with other possibilities of health care financing in the world and present specific examples in selected countries. The second part of the work compares the Czech Republic with the V4 countries and the European Union on the basis of selected statistic indicators. |
