| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí finanční Due Diligence v rámci M&A transakcí.Celá práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis celého M&A procesu, jeho historického vývoje, ale zejména je kladen důraz na praktické návody pro psaní výstupu z Due Diligence. Praktická část je tvořena případovou studií, kdy poradenská společnost byla pověřena ze strany strategického investora provést Finanční Due Diligence české výrobní společnosti speciálních stavebních hmot, včetně jejího ocenění. |

| Abstract: | The Diploma Thesis describes the role of Financial Due Diligence in the M&A process. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on a description of the M&A process and its historic background and mainly it is emphasized practical guidelines for the writing of the Report of the Financial Due Diligence. The practical part consists of a case study. The advisory company had a buy-side mandate from the strategic investor to process Financial Due Diligence of a Czech producer of special building materials included its valuation. |
