| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem jihoafrického kapitálového a komoditního trhu. Důraz je kladen zejména na největší jihoafrickou burzu Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Práce rozebírá obchodování na této burze i jednotlivé produkty se kterými lze na Johannesburg Stock Exchange obchodovat. Důležitou součástí diplomové práce je i identifikace a srovnání příčin, které ovlivňují vývoj jihoafrické burzy. K tomuto porovnání práce využívá hlavní burzovní index FTSE/JSE All Share Index. Značná část diplomové práce se také věnuje komoditám, které se v Jihoafrické republice těží, a zkoumá vliv těchto komodit na vývoj jihoafrické burzy. Na závěr je zhodnocení všech faktorů, které mají vliv na jihoafrickou burzu a které je potřeba při analýze této burzy sledovat. |

| Abstract: | The thesis presents an analysis of capital and commodity market in South Africa. Emphasis is put on biggest stock exchange in South Africa - Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The thesis analyses system of trading and individual products that can be traded on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. An important part of the thesis is an identification and comparison of effects that influence the development of this stock exchange. For this comparison main stock market index, FTSE/JSE All Share Index, is used. A significant part of the thesis deals with commodities mined in South Africa and examines the impact of these commodities on the development of the South African stock market. Finally, there is an evaluation of all factors that affect the South African stock exchange, and which need to be monitored in the analysis of the stock exchange. |
