| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zasazuje rozvoj kryptoměn do kontextu historického vývoje peněz a bankovnictví. Na základě zkoumání vlastností vybraného vzorku kryptoměn nahrazuje všeobecně užívaný pojem kryptoměny obecnějším pojmem kryptoaktiva. Dále pak navrhuje rámec pro jejich klasifikaci dle způsobu užití na převodní tokeny, uživatelské tokeny a investiční tokeny. Zabývá se též životním cyklem kryptoměn. Konkrétně procesem emise, distribuce a mechanismu provádění transakcí. Porovnává transakce v bankovním systémua kryptoměnách na základě dvou parametrů – ceny a rychlosti. Na závěr obsahuje i zhodnocení dalších odlišností obou systémů a jejich významu pro adopci technologie kryptoměn v bankovnictví. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis puts the development of cryptocurrencies into the context of the historical development of money and banking. It replaces popular term cryptocurrency by more general term crypto-assets, based on the research of the chosen sample. Furthermore, it suggests a taxonomy framework to categorize different types of crypto-assets. Suggested categories include payments token, utility token, and security token. The thesis describes the life cycle of crypto-assets including emission, distribution, and transfers. It also compares banking payments with cryptocurrency transfers based on two parameters — time and price. The thesis also contains the evaluation of attributes of both systems and their implications on cryptocurrency technology use within the banking system. |
