| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční a strategickou analýzu firmy Peek & Cloppenburg s.r.o. Cílem práce je zhodnotit ekonomickou pozici a strategické vyhlídky firmy z pohledu externího uživatele v období 2014–2018. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části – metodickou a praktickou. V teoretické části finanční analýzy je popsána a vysvětlena metodika jednotlivých ukazatelů. Teorie strategické analýzy je potom rozdělena na analýzu vnějšího prostředí a vnitřních zdrojů. V následné praktické části jsou poznatky z teoretické části aplikovány v praxi na základě údajů zjištěných z účetních výkazů, resp. autorské analýzy. Výstupy jsou prezentovány pomocí tabulek a grafů. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis focuses on financial and strategic analysis of the company Peek & Cloppenburg s.r.o. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate economic position and strategic outlook of the company from the perspective of an external user during the period 2014–2018. The thesis is divided into two main parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of financial analysis focuses on the definition and explanation of indicators. Strategic analysis is in turn divided into analysis of the environment of the company and analysis of its internal resources. The following practical part focuses on the application of methods and indicators from the theoretical part based on financial statements and authorial analyses, respectively. The results are presented in the form of tables and charts. |
