| Abstract: | Tato práce má přiblížit pohled na vývoj a momentální stav mexického automobilového trhu a dosud nevyužité příležitosti, které nabízí českým společnostem operujícím v automobilovém průmyslu. Práce se věnuje světovému trhu automobilů a postavení mexického automobilového průmyslu na něm, podrobnému přehledu mexického automobilového průmyslu od jeho počátku až po současnost, popis vývoje jednotlivých operací průmyslu, jako je výroba osobních a těžkých vozidel a autodílů, dále pak přímé zahraniční investice a obchodní potenciál země v tomto odvětví. Při zkoumání obchodního potenciálu je, mimo analýzy exportu a importu, stěžejním tématem vývoj obchodních dohod mezi Mexikem a jeho významnými partnery, a jak tyto dohody ovlivňují automobilový průmysl v zemi. V neposlední řadě je práce zaměřena na postavení českých produktů automobilového průmyslu na mexickém trhu. Budou zde nastíněny možnosti prohloubení spolupráce mezi Mexikem a Českou republikou v tomto odvětví, a to za pomoci analýzy dosavadní spolupráce a nalezení nových perspektivních příležitostí pro české výrobce. |

| Abstract: | This paper intends to give an insight into the development and current state of the Mexican automobile market and the untapped opportunities offered to Czech companies operating in the automotive industry. The paper is devoted to the global automobile market and the position of the Mexican automotive industry on it, also to the detailed overview of the Mexican automotive industry from its beginning to the present, a description of the development of individual operations of industry such as passenger cars, heavy vehicles and car parts, as well as foreign direct investment and the country's commercial potential in this sector. In examination of trade potential, apart from export and import analysis, the key issue is the development of trade agreements between Mexico and its major partners, and how these agreements affect the country's automotive industry. Last but not least, the work is focused on the position of Czech automotive products on the Mexican market. The possibilities of deepening cooperation between Mexico and the Czech Republic in this sector will be outlined by analyzing the existing cooperation and finding new prospective opportunities for Czech manufacturers. |
