Abstract:
This thesis deals with the topic of business process performance monitoring. The main goal of the thesis is the understanding of the relation between the business process and the establishment of the performance indicators, that better describe the business process performance. Finally, we will be able to extract the key performance indicators.First the author introduces the environment of the thesis in the introduction. After that, the author addresses the existing literature to present the ensemble of technical knowledge that will be used in the rest of the work. We will also have a holistic overview on the ensemble of methodologies that exist and could be used for implementing a solution that respond to the questions that are presented in the introduction part of the thesis. The main part of the thesis will be the introduction of a new methodology to solve our problem and the implementation of such solution in a real-world project and finally conclude on the result coming.
