| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá implementací nového ERP systému ve velké mezinárodní firmě. Práce má dva cíle. Jedním z nich je identifikovat Kritické faktory úspěchu pro ERP implantační projekty, čímž se zabývá teoretická část této práce. Tato kapitola dále rozebírá 4 případové studie na významné ERP implementace ve velkých mezinárodních firmách. Další z cílů této práce je sestavit sadu doporučení pro management firem, které budou podstupovat implementaci nového ERP systému. Tento cíl je vypracován na základě poznatků z teoretické i praktické části této práce. Praktická část se zabývá zkoumaným ERP implementačním projektem, kterým je projekt Simplify. Zkoumanou firmou je společnost HP Inc. V této kapitole jsou analyzována specifika projektu Simplify (plán implementace, funkční struktura projektu, cíle implementace či implementační přístup). Dále je zde rozebrán přístup firmy HP Inc. k jednotlivým identifikovaným Kritickým faktorům úspěchu z teoretické části této diplomové práce. |

| Abstract: | This master's thesis deals with the subject of implementation of a new ERP system in a multinational company. The thesis has two main goals. One of them is to identify The Critical Success Factors of ERP implementation project, which is the main topic of the theoretical part of this thesis. This chapter also focuses on 4 case studies on influential ERP implementations in multinational companies. The second goal of this thesis is to put together a set of recommendations for the management of multinational companies that would be going through the implementation of a new ERP system. This goal is reached through the findings from both the theoretical and practical parts of this thesis. The practical part studies project Simplify which is a huge ERP implementation project being run in HP Inc. company. This chapter deals with the specifics of the Simplify project such as implementation plan, implementation approach, the functional structure of the project or implementation goals. The chapter also focuses on the approach that HP Inc. takes regarding the identified Critical Success Factors from the theoretical part of this thesis. |
