| Abstract: | Mezera produktu je zásadním indikátorem deflačních a inflačních tlaků v ekonomice, který je často využívaný pro účely monetární politiky. V rámci práce jsou konkrétně popsány metody Kalmanův filtr a Hodrcik-Prescottův filtr, právě pro odhad mezery produktu. Odhady mezery produktu pomocí těchto metod, jsou v této práci porovnány a posléze diskutovány. Sledovaným územím je Česká republika, Polsko a Maďarsko. Tato práce přináší srovnání odhadů mezery produktu v těchto zemích. Data pro sledované území začínají 1996Q1 a končí 2019Q4. |

| Abstract: | Output gap is the significant indicator of inflation and deflation pressure in economy, commonly used for monetary policy purposes. This thesis includes methods for estimating the output gap, the Kalman filter and the Hodrick-Prescott filter. These methods are described, compared and final estimations of output gap are discussed on economic level. This thesis implies analysis of output gap for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, thesis includes comparison of estimated output gap in these countries. The data starts in 1996Q1 and the end period is 2019Q4. |
