| Abstract: | Diplomová práca sa venuje problematike metadát a metadátového riešenia v rámci Business Intelligence. Hlavným cieľom práce je implementácia metadátového riešenia za účelom dokumentovania technických metadátových údajov a ich použitie v rámci spoločnosti. Výsledná implementácia bude slúžiť pre riešenie aktuálneho stavu v tejto oblasti v danej spoločnosti za účelom dosiahnutia centralizovanej a stabilnej dokumentácie dátovej architektúry spoločnosti.Návrh celého riešenia je vytvorený na základe analýzy dostupnej odbornej literatúry, ktorá sa vzťahuje k oblasti metadát a Data Governance, na základe požiadaviek stakeholderov danej spoločnosti a znalostí nadobudnutých počas vysokoškolského štúdia a nadobudnutých skúsenosti z autorovej praxe.Práca je rozdelená do dvoch logicky nadväzujúcich častí. Teoretická časť uvedie čitateľa do odboru Business Intelligence, metadát a Data Governance. Následne práca pokračuje vymedzením problematiky, popisom súčasného stavu a odôvodnenie realizácie metadátového riešenia. Praktická časť tejto práce bude vytváraná s dôrazom na reálne využitie Data Governance podporované online platformou Collibra. V závere bude obsiahnuté zhodnotenie navrhovaného riešenia prác, úskalia ktoré viedli k dosiahnutiu k úspešnej realizácií implementácie metadátového riešenia v spoločnosti. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis deals with the metadata and their solutions within Business Intelligence. The main aim of my thesis is implementation of metadata solutions in order to bring a documentation of technical metadata evidence and their use within company. Final implementation will help to solve current status in this area in order to achieve centralized and stable documentation of the company data architecture.The solution proposal is based on the analysis of special literature related to metadata and Data Governance focused on stakeholders requirements of the company and knowledge acquired during university studies as well as authors experience.The thesis is divided into two logically related parts. The theoretical part introduces the reader to Business Intelligence, Metadata and Data Governance. Subsequently, the thesis continues with defining the issue, describing the current state and justifying the implementation of the metadata solution.Practical part of this thesis will be created with emphasis on real use of Data Governance supported by online platform Collibra. In conclusion, there will be an evaluation of the proposed work solution, the major problems that led to the achievement of successful implementation of metadata solution implementation in a company. |

Následně práce pokračuje vymezením problematiky, popisem současného stavu a odůvodnění realizace metadatového řešení.Praktická část této práce bude vytvářena s důrazem na reálné využití Data Governance podporované online platformou Collibra. V závěru bude obsaženo zhodnocení navrhovaného řešení prací, úskalí které vedly k dosažení k úspěšné realizaci implementace metadatového řešení ve společnosti. |
