| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením společnosti Leo Express a.s. na trhu osobních železničních přepravců v České republice. Práce začíná teoretickou částí, kde jsou popsány všechny důležité aspekty týkající se železniční dopravy. Po obecném úvodu následuje část, která se věnuje liberalizaci na české železnici, se kterou je spojena také legislativní úprava vymezující určité hranice při podnikání v železničním dopravním sektoru. Po teoretické části práce pokračuje části praktickou. V té je věnována hlavní pozornost společnosti Leo Express a.s. Je zde popsán vývoj od historický, ekonomický, vývoj železniční a autobusové dopravy této společnosti a také nabídka cestovních tříd a nabízených služeb na palubách vlaku. V druhé kapitole teoretické části je srovnání společnosti Leo Express a.s. s konkurenty na české železnici, opět z několika pohledů. Poslední, velmi podstatnou, částí praktické části je vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, které má podpořit vyhodnocení postavení společnosti Leo Express a.s. v konkurenčním prostředí, jelikož je dotazník zaměřen i na národního dopravce České dráhy a.s. a druhého soukromého dopravce RegioJet a.s. V závěru této bakalářské práce je vyhodnocen cíl této práce, tedy postavení společnosti Leo Express a.s. na trhu osobních železničních přepravců v ČR. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis is focused on the position of the company Leo Express Plc. on the market of the railway carriers in the Czech Republic. The thesis begins with theoretical part, where the most important terms and aspects concerning railway transportation are described. After a general introduction follows the part, which deals with the liberalization of Czech railways and this part is also connected with a legislative part, which determines some limits for entering a railway transport branch. After a theoretical part continues this thesis with practical part. The main attention of this part is paid to the company Leo Express Plc. Here is to find a description of historical and economic development and also the expansion of railway and bus transportation of Leo Express Plc, then the offer of travel classes and services provided on board of Leo Express trains. In the second chapter of practical part Leo Express is compared with its two competitors on the Czech railway market, again from more points of view. The last, but very important, part are the results of a survey which was made to support the assessment of the position of the company Leo Express Plc. in the competitive environment. In this survey are included two other railway carriers from Czech republic, which are state-owned Czech railways Plc. (national carrier) and the second private carrier RegioJet Plc. In the final chapter is assessed the aim of this bachelor's thesis - the position of the company Leo Express Plc. on the market of railway carriers in the Czech Republic. |
