Thus, the aim of the diploma thesis was to conduct a research in order to confirm or reject the hypothesis. The conducted quasi-experiment is an operational replication of the mentioned study, it uses the vignette method and it is theoretically based on Schwartz's integrated model of ethical decision-making. Statistical analysis of the obtained data revealed a significant finding in one of the vignettes, which in this case confirmed the significant impact of scandals on a sample of the population of computer science students with working experience. However, this discovery is not enough to talk about the impact of scandals on ethical decision-making in general, especially since none of the vignettes have shown significant influence among IT professionals. |
