| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaobírá internetem věcí (IoT) jako takovým, jeho využitím v rozličných oblastech a platformami IoT.Jedná se o velmi rychle se rozrůstající koncept, který se týká nejen moderních technologií a informatiky, ale má přesah i do mnoha významných oblastí, jakými jsou například zdravotnictví, průmysl a chytrá města. V mnoha ohledech se potenciál internetu věcí teprve rozvíjí a bezpočet odvětví stále čeká, co přinese budoucnost. Co ovšem mají všechny zasažené oblasti společné, je to, že dochází k propojení mezi mnoha technologickými faktory, jejichž prostřednictvím tyto technologie mohou v kontextu IoT fungovat. Počet IoT platforem každým rokem roste a nabízí stále komplexnější služby a řešení, a právě z tohoto předpokladu vychází cíl a přínos této práce.Hlavním cílem této práce je porovnání vybraných platforem využívaných pro realizaci IoT řešení na základě předem stanovených kritérií a vyhodnocení nejlepší varianty, vzhledem k těmto kritériím, v praktické části. Jedním vedlejším cílem je v teoretické části představení internetu věcí v rámci identifikovaných oblastí. Druhým vedlejším cílem je představení oblastí s možným využitím internetu věcí. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) as a whole, its use in different fields and its platforms.The IoT is rapidly growing concept, which is connected not only to modern technology and IT, but it also influences many important fields like healthcare, industry or smart cities. In many aspects, the true potential of the IoT is still unknown, and many fields are still waiting for what will the future bring. What all influenced fields have in common is the interconnectivity of their individual technological factors, via which the technologies can work in the context of the IoT. Their collective name is the platforms. The number of the IoT platforms grows every year, and they provide more and more complex solutions and services. The goal and contribution of this thesis are based upon this fact.Thus, the main goal of this thesis is in the practical part, a comparison of selected platforms used for the realization of the IoT solutions, based on criteria specified in advance, and selecting the best of them on the grounds of those criteria. Secondary goals are firstly an objective introduction of the IoT, and then secondly introduction of fields where IoT can be used. |
